After graduating in law from Trinity Hall Cambridge University MA (Cantab) I went on to qualify as a solicitor in 1985. I later gained a further law degree from King’s College London in construction law and arbitration with an M.Sc.
I have worked at a number of highly respected law firms including Linklaters in London, Hart Brown and Turbervilles.
I am a full member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (“ACTAPS”) which was set up in 1997 for lawyers who specialise in contentious trust and probate work.
Having had personal experience of the distress and anguish that can occur when a loved-one’s estate is not properly administered I decided to set up Hayes Solicitors Limited in Birmingham to offer clients a wide range of legal services but also specialist advice on contentious trust and probate. I handle every case with compassion, support and an understanding ear.
To date I have successfully dealt with the following types of cases:-
I can advise on whether the person who has made a Will had testamentary capacity. If you have been left out of the Will of a parent or partner and believe that you have a claim for reasonable financial provision from the Deceased then you should contact me. Similarly if you believe that an executor is not properly administering an Estate then I can advise you on what steps to take.
Alternatively you may be an accountant, solicitor, financial advisor or wealth management advisor looking for expert advice or to partner with a local expert, then please feel free to contact me.
